Authors: C. Eugene Steuerle, Edward M. Gramlich, Hugh Heclo, and Demetra Smith Nightingale
Average review score:

Perfect for college classrooms tired of the same old thing!
This book is a wonderful new view of government in the United States. Unlike the typical cynicism filled book that points out all problems in our society stemming from our government, this book makes specific recommendations to our government. Instead of sitting back and complaining, these authors tell us exactly what needs to be done!

This book is very refreshing and will fit in a college, or even an AP High School Government classroom, perfectly. Students have a wonderful opportunity to evaluate their reccomendations, come up with their own, and examine the problems raised b the authors.

Boeing: The First Century
Published in Hardcover by Taba Pub (January, 2000)
Author: Eugene E. Bauer
Average review score:

Great Follow-on to Boeing in Peace and War!
Mr. Bauer's - Boeing: The First Century - is a great follow-on to his earlier work - Boeing in Peace and War. Although it has much of the same text as its predecessor, it boasts of numerous illustrations to match the text to the Boeing aircraft he describes. A good work well worth the price.

Break Their Haughty Power: Joe Murphy in the Heyday of the Wobblies
Published in Paperback by Ism Pr (April, 1996)
Authors: Eugene Nelson and Liz Penniman
Average review score:

Exciting adventure story about union organizing.
Break Their Haughty Power is one of my all-time favorite books. It makes you feel that you are there with the migrant workers in the 1920's. You can see why they would want a union like the IWW to deal with the lousy hand they had been dealt in life. It is very 3-dimensional, showing the problems and not just glorifying the union, which elevates it from propaganda to truly fine literature.

Breakthrough Advertising: How to Write Ads That Shatter Traditions and Sales Records
Published in Hardcover by Boardroom Classics (June, 1984)
Author: Eugene Schwartz
Average review score:

Outstanding book that will change the way you advertise
If you're lucky enough to ever find a copy of this book (it took me 4 years)...buy it! The book was written some years ago, but the principles and ideas are timeless. This book is frequently mentioned as a "must have" by some of the greatest minds in marketing, past and present, and for good reason. I would never part with my copy, for any price. Find and obtain this book, study it, and if just one idea springs from it, then you'll be very well rewarded.

Brendan Behan
Published in Textbook Binding by Twayne Pub (June, 1969)
Author: Ted Eugene Boyle
Average review score:

excellent
Boyle's book is an important work for understanding Brendan Behan . I'm studying Irish lit, Yeats , Wilde and Behan. Boyle quotes Wilde in this book. Wilde and Behan both died young and both were imprisoned Behan for IRA activities, Wilde for sex . Its interesting how each handled it and what resulted from it. Boyle does not include analyses of Confessions of an Irish rebel.
